Microdermabrasion is performed with a minimally abrasive instrument to gently remove the thicker, uneven outer layer where dead skin cells lie. This type of skin rejuvenation is used to treat dullness, discoloration, and sun damage. Microdermabrasion helps to thicken collagen - a protein in the skin that makes it appear taut and smooth - which results in a younger looking complexion. As we age, collagen production declines resulting in looser, uneven skin.
The treatment works on all skin types and tones, and makes subtle changes causing no skin color change or scarring. A good solution for uneven skin tones. This facial will assist with minimizing large pores, reducing the appearance of scars, as well as brightening and softening the skin.
